WAT IS REAL LIFE GAMING?<\/h1>

Een Real Life Game is een interactief ervaring in een fictieve werkelijkheid waarin je vanuit een rol of positie uitdagingen oplost door samen te werken. Het gaat uiteindelijk om de reis en niet om de knikkers gaat. En omdat je al spelend authentiek gedrag vertoond is het een uitstekend medium voor teambuilding. Of voor het overbrengen van een boodschap.<\/p>\n\t\t

Escape Rooms<\/h2>

Rond 2016 kwamen de escape rooms in zwang. De vaak cognitieve uitdagingen zijn ingebed in een verhaal. Meestal speel je jezelf, maar soms blijk je in het verhaal een rol te spelen. Larpen (Live Action Role-Playing)<\/h2>

Als sinds de jaren 90 van de vorige eeuw is LRP-en of tegenwoordig Larp (of het werkwoord Larpen) een medium dat immersieve ervaringen voor de deelnemer cre\u00ebert in Nederland. Meestal in het thema Fantasy, maar de afgelopen 15 jaar zijn Larps in andere thema’s, zelfs op bestaande IP’s (Harry Potter, Star Wars) in opkomst. Wil je Larp uitproberen met je team? Meer diepgaande ervaringen zijn gebaseerd op de Nordic Larp traditie, die het medium Larp zeer serieus neemt. In Nederland wordt hier op hobbymatige basis invulling aan gegeven via Short Larps. In 2023 is Bruidsprijs, een Nederlandse adaptatie van een Zweedse Larp, uitgevoerd.<\/p>\n\t\t

Live combat<\/h2>

We zien dat interactive storytelling ook vaker terugkomt in combinatie met laserguns of airsoft (en niet alleen Larp wapens). Een voorbeeld hiervan is Gold Rush van Turf.<\/p>\n

Als je alleen de combat van Larp neemt, dan hou je Archery Tag<\/a> of Sword Tag<\/a> over. Jubensha: Social Murder Mystery Puzzle Game<\/h2>

Nog onbekend in Nederland, maar groots in China: Jubensha<\/a> ofwel Scripted Murder. Een combinatie van Murder Mystery, Weerwolven en Larpen\/RPG, een cognitieve uitdaging voor 4-7 personen. De storytelling is bijzonder: magisch realistisch, direct en confronterend, zoekt grenzen op. IntoTheMirror heeft diverse titels op voorraad voor groepen van 4-7 of een veelvoud of combinatie daarvan.<\/p>\n\t\t

Large scale Real Life Games<\/h2>

Prison Escape<\/a> van Rik Stapelbroek weet op succesvolle wijze Larpen en Escapen te combineren. Hij heeft de term Real Life Gaming in het leven geroepen voor zijn ervaring. In navolging van deze real life gaming traditie kennen we onder andere Tracing Thomas, Hotel Wonderland en Stay in The Dark. Nieuw in deze traditie is Museum Escape: a Night at the Museum<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t
