Je overlegt met je mede commandanten voor het plan van aanpak. Samen zorgen jullie voor de implementatie om deze slag op de tegenstander te winnen.<\/p>\n<p>Ervaar de spanning van oorlogsvoering, omgaan met onzekerheden en de euforische momenten van &#8220;I love it when a plan comes together&#8221; (<em>Hannibal Smith, A-team<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Samen met onze partner BelloLudi hebben we de wargame &#8216;Commanding Waterloo&#8217; ontwikkeld als teambuilding voor deelnemers die hiermee geen enkele ervaring hebben.<\/p>\n<h3>Hoe<\/h3>\n<p>Na het leren van de vereenvoudigde spelregels voor deze wargame nemen we je mee terug in de tijd naar de laatste dagen van Napoleon. Je krijgt het commando over het Franse (blauwe) of Engelse (rode) leger. Met elkaar voer je een opdracht uit waarin de blauwe en rode partij met elkaar het gevecht aangaan, waarbij tactiek en dobbelsteenworpen de uitkomst bepalen.<\/p>\n<p>Eerst bepaalt jouw team een strategie. Het spelmateriaal zijn handgeschilderde miniaturen die onmiddellijk tot de verbeelding spreken. Dan stel je de tinnen legers op en start de veldslag. Je zult moeten plannen, improviseren, overleggen, beslissen en (onder)handelen.<\/p>\n<p>Je speelt in verschillende ronden. Tussen de rondes is ruimte om te reflecteren en je planning aan te passen aan de nieuwe realiteit. Als je de tegenstander op de vlucht hebt doen slaan, is de slag gewonnen.<\/p>\n<h3>Reflectie &amp; debriefing<\/h3>\n<p>Na elke ronde reflecteren we binnen het team op de geboekte resultaten, de onderlinge samenwerking en de noodzakelijke aanpassingen van de gekozen strategie. Drie dagen eerder is Waterloo verloren door de Fransen. Geallieerde troepen rukken op richting Parijs. Franse eenheden proberen hen de pas af te snijden bij het plaatsje Beauvais, een kleine 100 kilometer ten noordwesten van Parijs. De legers marcheren op elkaar af, vastberaden de vijand te verdrijven. Er is niet veel daglicht meer om de doelen van vandaag te bereiken, dus beide partijen hebben haast! Jullie zijn commandant van een van deze brigades. Om als team de uitdagingen in deze game succesvol op te lossen, is onderlingen afstemming nodig. Het maken van plannen, implementeren en improviseren zijn eveneens essentieel.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Praktisch<\/h2>\n<p>De wargame &#8216;Commanding Waterloo&#8217; wordt gespeeld met tinnen miniaturen en dobbelstenen, op een terrein met landschap dat op tafels wordt neergezet. Er moet ruimte zijn voor de spelers om rondom het slagveld te kunnen bewegen.<\/p>\n<p>Je kunt de pop-up ervaring &#8216;Commanding Waterloo&#8217; overal spelen: op kantoor, klaslokaal of in een zaal bij jou in de buurt.
