THEME PARK
[Working together on projects]
What
'Theme Park', a unique experience that challenges you and your team to collaborate, communicate and and find creative solutions to the problems that arise in a project-based environment.
How
Step into the shoes of the Innovation teams developing new attractions for our small theme park, which recently joined the FamilyFunFormula chain.
Challenges arise when the developed attractions come into the hands of the Park Department. Obstacles disrupt your project plans and the park owner worries about the future. In an environment where an ongoing business is closely intertwined with ongoing projects, you have to balance innovation and operational continuity.
Reflection and debriefing
Because you are reflecting according to the principle Working-Evaluating-Planning learning takes place continuously. At the end, a transfer to one's own practice is made.
Theme Park as team building
Organisations choosing Theme Park are in many cases looking for a high-impact experience to quickly get the essence of project management between colleagues' ears. It does not matter according to which approach you take to the challenges in the game: Prince2, Pragmatic Project Management, P6 method, Agile or Scrum.
Theme park can be used during the kick-off of a process-oriented work program, as a learning tool in training programs for more experienced project managers or as a fun but substantive activity during team days or two-day sessions.
Practical
Theme Park is played by teams of 9 to 20 participants. It is not only project managers, but also clients, steering committee members, project staff and PMO people who play Theme Park. With more participants, multiple sessions take place in parallel.
You can play Theme Park anywhere: at the office, or at a venue near you. Or at one of our locations.
